Where to Stay in Kendal

A quiet street in Kendal town centre

Kendal Encounter is non-residential, so you'll need to book your own accommodation. The good news? Kendal has plenty of it, and much is a short walk from the Castle Centre.

Tip: Late June is busy in the Lake District. Book early, ideally when you book your place.

Kendal town centre has plenty of cafes, pubs and takeaways a few minutes' walk from the venue. You're also welcome to bring your own food. Tea, coffee and refreshments are available at the Castle Centre.
